Taigans vs Wolves

Here and here are two rather ugly photos of Kyrgiz taigans attacking a tethered wolf. They have caused controversy in both European AR groups and, most recently, in one of our tazi lists. The general consensus appears to be that the Kyrgiz are reprehensible and that they should be stopped (also, everyone apparently thinks that the wolves are killed). I attempted to add a little to everyone's knowledge but didn't succeed, so I'll try it here. First, the wolves (and bears, and badgers) used in

Please, BHO, not HRC — UPDATED

Mulling the idea of Hillary Rodham Clinton as a possible Secretary of State, Josh Marshall wrote yesterday, “I can’t be the only one who’s thought of this” — “this” being exactly what was bothering me the other day. This long NYT story last December set my “Money Party” antennae a-jangle: …The New York Times has compiled the first comprehensive list of 97 donors who gave or pledged a total of $69 million for the Clinton presidential library in the final years of the Clinton administration. Economic Crisis + Amazing Race = Central Asia Bonanza!

Who’s an economics expert? Who knows how to solve the world’s current financial crisis? Was that Kazakhstan on the ‘Amazing Race‘? Answers: Not me, probably no one, and yes, Nick and Starr are unbeatable! With the leaders of most of the world’s economies attending an international summit to try and combat the current economic downturn and create systems which will hopefully make future worldwide recession less likely, it is more than appropriate to discuss Central Asia’s financial predicament.

The Amazing Race 13 Episode 8

Kelly & Christy finally got off my screen in The Amazing Race 13 Episode 7. Not far ahead of them were Andrew & Dan, who by some miracle keep just barely surviving in second to last every week. Meanwhile, Nick & Starr continued their dominance with another first place finish. 60 Minutes looks like it’s about half an hour tardy. A live recap will start when 60 Minutes concludes. Teams depart in the order in which they arrived. First: Nick & Starr - 10:14PM Second: Toni & Dallas - 10:24PM Th

The Amazing Race Season 13 - “Episode Eight”

Jump to Comments “I’m Like An mad Cow” November 16th, 2008 As far as basic human capacities go, thinking logically and reading comprehension appear to be the first to disappear when people go on The Amazing Race. Last week, Kelly and Christy finally saw their inability to read clues (or even think that what they were doing made absolutely no sense) prove their undoing, getting sent home to leave five teams standing. And while Nick and Starr and Toni and Dallas seem to be mostly capable of avo
